The Red Sox announced a promotion for Game 3 today: the first 5.000 fans arriving at Fenway will have a chance to be stranded on base by Manny Ramirez.

Re: Manny Ramirez: my comment after the 3rd inning of Game 1 was "Count how many times David Ortiz leads off an inning in this series". It's like Game 6 of the 1986 series. The guys hitting behind Buckner and Gedman led off practically every time they came up, which means that Buckner and Gedman were making the 3rd out a lot. As Casey Stengel would say, "You could look it up".
