What was it? The article's gone. Was it a big ol' bitch slap to the post, 'cause I would've like to see that. While they're at it, can they also reach an arm up to MA and slap the Herald upside the head as well? The Post owns the Herald and all. It's only fair.

Come to work. I'm bored. Edwards doesn't excite me. Maybe I'll be able to hold my nose and vote for them while repeating the mantra, Anybody But Bush...

I believe the Post put a giant headline with the words 'Kerry chooses Gephardt' on it. Heh. Boy is someone getting fired.

Friendly point of information re: "The Post owns the Herald and all." It doesn't. Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., which owns the Post, spun off the Herald in 1994 in order to get FCC approval to buy channel 25. So they were once both tools of the diabolical Australians, but thankfully the Herald is once again that near-mythical rarity, an independent newspaper. Given the Globe's big-business-boosterist tendencies, that's not such a bad thing to have around.

But why is it so trashy?????

Same reason the Globe is what it is: that's what the market commands.
