Rear Window
Say what you will, but the pace of the 100 Movie Countdown has been upgraded from "glacial" to "very very very slow".

"Rear Window" is a great movie. The only movie above it on my personal top five list is "The Godfather".
Rear Window even starts out great - the shot of Jeff's leg in a cast and photos of the wheel flying off the race car toward him sets up the situation beutifully, and with no need for dialog to explain it. What follows is a great plot, great performances, and great directing.
Did you notice that only 1 scene in the whole movie is shot from outside of Jeff's apartment? It's the shot near the end before the fall (don't want to say more to not spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it).

Sorry, I couldn't resist another comment:
with regard to your observation that "Must be nice to have someone come visit a couple times a week and tell it like it is", I am more than willing to do so ...

i'll come to your house and tell you how it is, the both of you: the punctuation goes INSIDE the quotation marks, I N S I D E. you silly boys thinking it looks neater. neater? looks wrong to me. i'll call you when i get back from the grammar rodeo.

Perhaps in the rigid grammatical world or in the grammar rodeo (where can you get tickets for that?) punctuation goes inside the quotation marks, but it really does not seem right that that should be the case. When someone speaks or writes something, they should be quoted exactly. That includes the punctuation marks as they punctuated them. If someone quotes this (which, why would they?), they shouldn't say ... and he said "they should be quoted exactly!" they should say and he said "they should be quoted exactly"! The emphasis in this case is of the quoter, not the quotee.
Some rules are made to be broken - no taxation without representation is one. Punctuation in quotes only as the quotee intended should be another.
Where would e.e. cummings have been if he had to capitalize words.
And speaking of capitalizing words, Ms. Grammatician ....
